It is very common for plants to sustain shock during shipment. It is a living being, coming from greenhouse conditions, that had to just spend several days in a dark box. Give it some water, sunlight, and love and it will perk up in no time. Occasionally, a plant will throw a “temper tantrum” and shed its leaves but if you give it time to acclimate (up to 1 month), your plant’s leaves will fill in with new, healthy growth.
